When DLWarfield, self-styled creative crusader and founder of GOLDFINGER c.s., first named his company, he was actually motivated by a different individual – King Midas. According to legend, Midas was made king by the will of the people, and is historically known for his ability to turn anything he touched into pure gold. World domination was not necessarily the motivating factor when he started working a Creative Gun for Hire yet his undisputed ability to exceed even the highest standards of creativit y has made the St. Louis native a legend in his own time. Ruffhouse is a record label founded in 1989 by Chris Schwartz and Joe Nicolo as a joint venture with Columbia Records. Chris Schwartz has worked in the music and film industry for almost 30 years. Ruffhouse was recently re-launched in 2012, through EMI/Capitol Records with Beanie Sigel and Glenn Lewis as a couple of the new artists on the label.
